 I think it would be useful, when creating the diff's, to support the
 `--ignore-all-space' and `--ignore-matching-lines=REGEXP' features of
 `diff'.  The ignore-matching-lines option can be used to not diff
 lines with RCS keyword expansions in them, for instance.  This is
 useful for generating a patch that will be forwarded upstream, where
 you don't want it to change the author's RCS Id tag.
