Apparently its decay has reached the stage of expired SSL certificates, so it's about time debian-faq/support.dbk was trimmed back to only point at forums.debian.net. <section id="s12.2.2"><title>Web forum</title> <para> <ulink url="http://forums.debian.net/">Debian User Forums</ulink> provides web forums on which you can submit questions about Debian and have them answered by other users. (It is not officially part of the Debian project.) </para> </section> That would be a minimal fix, but I'd also want to reorganise it now. DebianHELP was entirely "third-party", but forums.debian.net is not ("https://bits.debian.org/2021/08/debianuserforums.html") - the debian-user mailinglist isn't "official" in that it guarantees an authoritative answer from the DPL, or supersedes the NO WARRANTY warnings, it's just that it's the "preferred" support channel. Perhaps it needs to say something like: <section id="s12.2.2"><title>Web forum</title> <para> Besides the official mailing lists, there are also web forums at <ulink url="http://forums.debian.net/">Debian User Forums</ulink> on which you can submit questions about Debian and have them answered by other users. </para> </section> -- JBR with qualifications in linguistics, experience as a Debian sysadmin, and probably no clue about this particular package
