Hello I've done some work on git migration. I started dumping the full svn repo in order to check the full content [1]. I also mapped svn user with their name and email. So there should be no problem in doing smoothly the rest of the migration.
IMHO, there are three cases: ** DOCUMENTS TO ATTIC apt-howto, book-suggestions, ddp-policy, debian-bugs, debiandoc-sgml-doc, debiandoc-startup, dictionary, distribute-deb, dselect-beginner , es, euro-support, faq, fr, hands-on, i18n-l10n, intro-i18n, libpkg-guide, markup, menu, meta, network-administrator, newbie-doc, progeny-debian-manual, programmer, repository-howto, sgml-howto, sgmltools-startup, system-administrator, tutorial, user, users-guide, users_manual, xml-sgml-policy ** DOCUMENTS ALREADY MIGRATED (no work needed) developers-reference, maint-guide, quick-reference, refcard, securing-howto ** LIVE DOCUMENTS hamradio-handbook, debian-faq, java-faq, project-history, release-notes Now, what's your opinion? (Please bear with me :-)) Greetings, Marcos [1] FULL CONTENT OF DDP SVN REPO (TRUNK BRANCH) /trunk/apt-howto /trunk/book-suggestions /trunk/ddp-policy /trunk/debian-bugs /trunk/debian-faq /trunk/debiandoc-sgml-doc /trunk/debiandoc-startup /trunk/developers-reference /trunk/dictionary /trunk/distribute-deb /trunk/dselect-beginner /trunk/es /trunk/euro-support /trunk/faq /trunk/fr /trunk/hamradio-handbook /trunk/hands-on /trunk/i18n-l10n /trunk/intro-i18n /trunk/java-faq /trunk/libpkg-guide /trunk/maint-guide /trunk/markup /trunk/menu /trunk/meta /trunk/network-administrator /trunk/newbie-doc /trunk/progeny-debian-manual /trunk/programmer /trunk/project-history /trunk/quick-reference /trunk/refcard /trunk/release-notes/ /trunk/repository-howto /trunk/securing-howto /trunk/sgml-howto /trunk/sgmltools-startup /trunk/system-administrator /trunk/tutorial /trunk/user /trunk/users-guide /trunk/users_manual /trunk/xml-sgml-policy El 08/05/18 a las 15:26, Javier Fernandez-Sanguino escribió: > Dear colleagues, > > Is anyone currently working on moving the entire DDP SVN repository > from Alioth to Salsa? > > It appears the tasks listed below are still outstanding, I can work on > these or split the work with others.
