the website http://www.debian.org/releases/testing/i386/release-notes/ch-whats-new.de.html should describe debian 3.0 "woody" in german. This site is somewhat messed up. It a mixed description for debian 2.2 and 3.0. 1.1 seems to be written for woody, 1.2 clearly isn't ("... XFree86 3.3.6, Perl 5.005.03, GCC 2.95.2, ...", the other one that follow on the next pages are partly correct only. The changed packages lists reminds me of the one for potato.
