I see in Debian-news that there is a new debconf that can ask questions at install time. I suggest that this be used as a vehicle for asking which languages of documentation a user wants to install.
Why? I don't have enough room on my system to install N copies of all the documentation in N-1 languages that I cannot read. And I'm probably not the only Debian user with this restriction. Wyn Snow
