Official sets are main+contrib, which is 3cd's. This can include non-US or not (only CD1 is different in that case). Sometimes vendors provide a 4th binary CD with non-free (may or may not include non-US/non-free). The source CD's are also 3 images main+contrib. Not sure how they handle non-US and non-free.
