mp is an e-mail pretty-printer developed by Rich Burridge at Sun. He uses the brief name mp but I would be happy to consider alternative names for a Debian package if it was felt that mp could be too confusing.
I have created a provisional package and uploaded it to my home directory (~bates) on master.debian.org for anyone who wants to take a look.
