I'll agree with everything but this. X 4.0 stands to push aside support for some of our architectures. Atleast from what I have read, m68k and sparc will not be supported under the modules. I am not really sure how well they are supported at all (sparc has module support under 4.0, but it is disabled). Considering that most of the sparc X server support under 3.3.x was not officially part of Xfree, I'm a little concerned about 4.0. We really need to wait for judgement on 4.0 until we see how it fits into all of the archs. I think it would be a good idea to release an update for potato specifically to support kernel 2.4 when it releases however.
