Hi, I wrote a new draft of a document on i18n. It is available at http://surfchem0.riken.go.jp/~kubota/linuxwork/i18ndoc.html.
Now the document is written in HTML and separated into a few files. Translation into English is almost finished. > i noticed that there is no mention of utf-2000 -- perhpas there is nothing > to say about it yet. do you know what it is? Sorry I don't know. I made an empty section for UTF-2000. > will you eventually have a section of references? That is a good idea. > comment: you might want to start the sentance w/ 'Roughly,' -- i think > kanji came in to japan several different times (you might want to check > the 'blowfish' book, or suggest that people who are interested look > there). What is 'blowfish' book? I could not find that word in my English-Japanese dictionary nor in Jargon File. > I suggest you to include info about the GNU Translation Project and > gettext. I wrote about gettext. What is GNU Translation Project? Can you write a brief introduction? Then I can adopt it. -- Tomohiro KUBOTA <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
