But if they are allowed to released closed-source drivers, then there is no incentive for them to *ever* release free ones. In the meantime, I will continue to buy supported hardware, and occasionally inform a manufacturer that I chose not to buy their device because they did not support Linux (either buy providing the driver, or by providing sufficient info for someone to write the driver).
