What do you mean by "break"? If you restart syslogd you have to restart some other programs as well (squid, teergrube, inn, named come to my mind.) > If I'm barking up the wrong tree, sorry. There's not much logging activity since it's not the main machine and neither the loghost. I'm not sure if I already installed it on the server, I've done it now and will watch it.
