So far, Alpha is looking "near" ready and we are shooting to release with slink/i386. A caveat, however, is that we need to resolve some big egcs issues SOON or else we can't release (as is, 1.1b will not compile two or three vital packages correctly). I'll keep you updated on this. How long do we expect the freeze to last (ballpark guess)? C
