This assumption wasn't true for dpkg, e2fsprogs nor man-db and isn't for apt either; in case of apt the GPL2+ applies (in general). You already got replies in those threads that seem sufficient to explain what is (or at least feels) off with your requests, so that I won't repeat the same here. It would be nice if in exchange you would not repeat them in even more threads as that draws you in a bad light.
