yourself the "Debian syslog team" instead.
And RFC 5424 (not RFC 5254) does support logging structured data.
journald has rich metadata about every log line and it'd be nice if we
would actually implement RFC 5424 in a sensible way while we're at it -
and not be stuck at one-per-line logging.
