https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/raspi-firmware doesnt give any indication to me that the package is ripe for salvaging it. Hijacking it you could, but you should not. Please don´t give bad advice on -devel. (The bug in question is wishlist and merely asks for a new way to boot raspis giving some hints how this could be implemented but does not contain a patch, but rather explains how there are two unsolved problems with that suggestion and finally the bug is from end of April 2025 when the freeze was already quite far advanced, so no wonder there was no reply.) -- cheers, Holger ⢀⣴⠾⠻⢶⣦⠀ ⣾⠁⢠⠒⠀⣿⡁ holger@(debian|reproducible-builds|layer-acht).org ⢿⡄⠘⠷⠚⠋⠀ OpenPGP: B8BF54137B09D35CF026FE9D 091AB856069AAA1C ⠈⠳⣄ Make lying wrong again.
