Under some circumstances, libc5 libraries depend on themselves according to ldd. This issue has come up before; you might want to check the mailing list archives. As far as I know, it is harmless and can be ignored. I'm copying this to David Engel, whom I consider to be our library guru. David, am I right that this self-dependance can be ignored?
