It is packaged as gnudip-server and gnudip-client The gnudip-server receives requests from GnuDIP clients, informs them of their public IP address, and updates a DNS server under your control. Clients can connect via a gnudip protocol, or via https, and the user database can be held in a text file or mysql or postgres db. A minimal installation at present only gnudip protocol and text db. The gnudip-client connects to a GnuDIP server and returns your current IP address, and dynamically updates your DNS entry.
