* Package name : swaysome Version : 2.1.2 Upstream Contact: Florent 'Skia' Jacquet <s...@hya.sk> * URL : https://gitlab.com/hyask/swaysome * License : MIT Programming Lang: Rust Description : swaysome allows better multi-output management for sway by namespacing sway's workspaces in "workspace groups" to easily move them from one output to another I'm the original author of swaysome, and would like to see it be part of Debian. This software is already part of Arch Linux through AUR and Void Linux. Having it in Debian would help many sway-flavored derivatives to make use of it easily. I use this software daily since its very beginning in 2020, and I'm not aware of any similar package. Here is the original post in the sway bug tracker, for a bit of history on why this tool is useful: https://github.com/swaywm/sway/issues/4771#issuecomment-766337073 I do intend to maintain both the upstream software and the Debian package, but I would need a sponsor to get it uploaded. If someone wants to help in co-maintaining, I'm not against the idea either, but I don't expect this software to be a big burden of maintenance, so me alone is fine. Just for completeness, I have already done most of the work here: https://salsa.debian.org/rust-team/debcargo-conf/-/merge_requests/578
