It was inspired by termbox, but differs from termbox in some important ways. It also adds substantial functionality beyond termbox. The package is in the dependency tree of lazygit (#908894)[1,2]. The package upstream[3] is a forked version of tcell[4] which is already packaged in Debian archive[5].
