I've decided not to take the guile packages from Jim Pick. I don't have the time, I really need to study more, I'm not up to the task right now. I have a nice rules file if anyone wants it.
I've decided to put my energy into learning to use the RScheme system, rather than Guile. It's a better scheme. It would be a good thing, perhaps, if Gnome would look at it also.
