And, to be clear, IMO you shouldn't do any more than adding some informative text describing the effective licence on the work as a whole. It may still be the case that people can use the individual files in ways that don't invoke the terms of the GPL (for example, using them in isolation as example code), and it would be unfriendly for you to make the licence on the Debian versions of those files stricter than their authors wanted. -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org]
