One workaround is $ reportbug <package> Severity: whatever Tags: patch (and mention the PR) Did that in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=904457 for https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/tasksel/merge_requests/2 (where I thought this happened. no idea whether installer-team has MR notifications on or not.)
