This language has been defined by the IVOA in the Recommendation of 30 Oct 2008 (Version 2.0) and is mainly used in the Table Access Protocol (TAP). The package will be maintained by the Debian Astro team. It is part of the effort to package the Virtual Observatory Java tools from Starlink.
