And even aside from that, one sometimes needs to build-depend on a newer debhelper because it fixes a bug or adds a particular feature, yet without necessarily immediately opting into all the compatibility-breaking changes that come with the higher compat level. -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org]
