Write a short script that reproduces the problem, and attach it to a mail that explains what you want to do, what you expect the script to output, and what the actual output is. Sen report the problem to one of: * upstream: https://www.gnu.org/software/libc/bugs.html * Debian: https://www.debian.org/Bugs/ I would expect this to be an upstream bug, and that it would faster to get it fixed by reporting it upstream. -- I want to build worthwhile things that might last. --joeyh
