I mentionned forensics tools precisely because this is an option which is on the table and that I already suggested in the past a long time ago and more recently: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/forensics-devel/2016-April/007094.html But right now I prefer spending my time to properly setup the pkg-security team before getting more involved in such a "migration". But if other people are willing to work on it right now, then it's fine of course.
