Preferably expanded to "https://" instead of "git://", following what has been discussed here in the beginning of the month[1][2]. > * When Vcs-Git field exists without colon and Vcs-Browser is > missing, then it is (currently) added as > https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/%f.git It could be even simpler, as the same HTTPS URL can be used for Git cloning and web browsing since Alexander Wirt fixed this[3] on anonscm.debian.org.
