The only way I know around this is using a non-official installation image, with non-free firmware included. You can find them on http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/current/. So if you have AMD64 you would need to use http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/current/amd64/iso-cd/firmware-7.6.0-amd64-netinst.iso. Regards Sven
