Now that Redhat and Suse have been contacted by ORACLE regarding to licensing the SMF patents a question arises for Debian:
SystemD violates a couple of patents SUN Microsystems filed for their SMF system used in Solaris. Now, who is going to pay the patent and license fees for each Debian installation which uses SystemD?
