Thanks a lot for this development ! For the packages that I maintain with Git, I commit build logs (the local one for the uploaded binary packages, plus the buildd ones) in separate branches. In some cases I found it quite useful. Have you considered integrating logs in dgit ? In a somehow similar goal (finding difference between builds), have you also considered committing the contents of the unpacked binary packages in other branches ?
