Dear all, I re-contacted UniProt, and they proposed to add a clarification on their license page, in line with what I proposed, that a couple of records taken isolatedly for being used in test suites do not infringe their license on the database as a whole. I asked them if I can quote the details in public, and got no answer yet, so I will instead send a copy on debian-private, plus one to the FTP team for triplechecking that their are fine with this. Then, if nobody objects, I will considered the problem solved and update the emboss package.
