Hi, I hope there is someone who can explain me this behaviour, because I am getting crazy:
$ git-import-orig --pristine-tar ../orig-tar/mu-0.9.6.99.1.tar.gz What is the upstream version? [0.9.6.99.1] gbp:info: Importing '../orig-tar/mu-0.9.6.99.1.tar.gz' to branch 'upstream'... gbp:info: Source package is maildir-utils gbp:info: Upstream version is 0.9.6.99.1 pristine-tar: committed maildir-utils_0.9.6.99.1.orig.tar.gz.delta to branch pristine-tar gbp:info: Merging to 'master' Removing src/mu-output.c Removing src/mu-output.h Auto-merging toys/mug/mug.c Auto-merging toys/mug2/mug.c Merge made by recursive. gbp:info: Successfully imported version 0.9.6.99.1 of ../orig-tar/mu-0.9.6.99.1.tar.gz $ Now that looks fine .... but then ... $ git-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot -S .... fatal: Path 'maildir-utils_0.9.6.99.orig.tar.gz.delta' does not exist in 'refs/heads/pristine-tar' pristine-tar: git show refs/heads/pristine-tar:maildir-utils_0.9.6.99.orig.tar.gz.delta failed gbp:error: /usr/bin/pristine-tar returned 128 gbp:error: Couldn't run '/usr/bin/pristine-tar' $ Soooooo yeah ... this is what is supposed to be? Thanks for any enlightment. I slowly think that the move to git is becoming more pain than fun, using svn and svn-b-p was much easier AFAIR.
