I tried to file these at www.debian.org, but the server said that the bug tracking page was an unknown URL (it seems to be other URLs, too, like the packages page.) I tried the german mirror but the timestamp said Oct 31 so I decided to send a mail to the list and find out what's going on.
since I've nowhere else to mention them, I'll list them quickly. The xbase (3.3.1-2) failed postinst. The section: test -L /usr/include/X11 && rm -f /usr/include/X11 if [ -d /usr/include/X11 ] then cd /usr/include/X11 cp -a * /usr/X11R6/include/X11 cd .. rm -rf X11 fi seems to be at fault. My /usr/include/X11 was empty, so the cp failed and the postinst broke. Not hard to test for. Next, sed (2.05-18) has this annoying tendancy to say Electric Fence 2.0.5 Copyright (C) 1987-1995 Bruce Perens. everytime it starts up. Really ugly when my xterms all have this at the top due to stuff in my rc's: Electric Fence 2.0.5 Copyright (C) 1987-1995 Bruce Perens. Electric Fence 2.0.5 Copyright (C) 1987-1995 Bruce Perens. Electric Fence 2.0.5 Copyright (C) 1987-1995 Bruce Perens. I'll post these as actual bug reports if someone tells me the best way to do so. -- Michael Stone, Sysadmin, ITRI PGP: key 1024/76556F95 from mit keyserver, [EMAIL PROTECTED] finger, or email with "Subject: get pgp key" -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
