It's written by the original author of Mongrel, and uses the Mongrel HTTP parser, but everything else is new. The goal is to create a web server specifically designed for web applications over serving files. This software is still under heavy development and it should not be included in squeeze, but since I'm interested in several features of this software I plan to prepare and maintain this package.
