I don't think this adds anything to the other references and arguments you provided in your post; how about refraining from using this argument in the future? Additionally, DFSG are part of our foundation documents and contribute to define our relationship with users, therefore we should be able to counter "you're violating DFSG" accuses no matter who is raising them. Resorting to "you're not a DD" kind of arguments might also be perceived as weakness in our responses: yet another argument to avoid using them. Cheers.
