Facilities are provided for access control, authentication, backup and administrative management. This package provides Perl bindings to the AFS APIs, including support for doing in Perl nearly all of the operations possible with the AFS client programs. I have been maintaining private packages of this module for quite some time but hadn't uploaded them to Debian because of various problems with getting PIC versions of the OpenAFS libraries, which limited the module to i386.
