Dear all, while reviewing an Ubuntu package that we are considering to submit to the NEW queue for inclusion in Debian, I found a copy of source files from the ‘minizip’ package, that was not mentionned in debian/copyright.
Suspecting that it could have been overlooked by many others, I had a look at source.debian.net and checked a couple of packages randomly. http://source.debian.net/source/search?&path=unzip.c http://source.debian.net/source/search?&path=unzip.h Indeed, this file was undeclared in some of the packages I checked, including one from me (velvet). The conclusion is that we should either change our policy on copyright documentation (that goes further than what is required by some licenses), or double-check our packages.
