I want this packaged for DEbian because there are useful things in this module (such as CAST5 cipher and RIPEMD160 digests) which are otherwise not directly available in perl through debian, as far as i can tell. Re: licensing: the current version doesn't have explicit licensing in the source. I exchanged mails directly with the upstream author, and he confirmed that it is licensed under the same terms as perl (GPL or Artistic). The next release will include the license as part of the package.
