You can't post a two-sentence summary of a new package manager to debian-devel, say "discuss" and then shoot down replies by claiming the person has not done any research. If you want to be taken serious, write a paper about Nix and/vs. dpkg/apt, and post the link to it here together with an introductory summary/abstract or something.
