Of course that would be nice, but it's not an answer to my question. Also, more than two years ago I did write code to solve the IPv4/IPv6 truncation issue. However, you (kinda) rejected it with a vague comment and refused to tell me in what way it should be improved. I'd rather not work on other bugs if there's a chance the work gets ignored again.
