I'm unsure how to best combine gettext with the template system used.
(There is libtemplate-multilingual-perl, but that doesn't use gettext)
So I'm currently not able to display the existing translations.

packages.ubuntu.com still runs the code from that repository. But for
packages.debian.org it is not used anymore. I don't plan to merge
the new code into this repository.
