Not in Debian – /bin/sh scripts must be POSIX compliant and not use extensions, and with my experience from mksh (minus the “stop” alias issue, which, with mksh R30, became a non-issue), and seeing how many people use dash, there are no /bin/sh scripts that assume bash any more. //mirabile -- I believe no one can invent an algorithm. One just happens to hit upon it when God enlightens him. Or only God invents algorithms, we merely copy them.
