Since it does not more but being a passkey agent for bluez-3.x (older versions cannot use it), wouldn't "bluez-passkey-gnome" be a better name? And it's not for making a bluetooth connection, it is for the optional pairing of two bluetooth devices. Although it's nice to see the first passkey agent (really): does anyone know a working one for KDE and/or X/GTK/whatever? I don't know about the dependencies but e.g. XFCE probably rather like GTK apps without half of Gnome, not speaking of KDE users, yet ;) Additional question: where are the pairing credentials stored? I would prefer a per-user storage to not allow a user access on a device only because another user did the pairing with e.g. his personal mobile phone. Think of reading/modifying contacts and calender data! BTW: same question goes for network-manager that uses credentials from another user than the one that requested the network change. With an eye on security, this is not good. HS -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
