I'm not an English native speaker, but I think this is not what it's reported in the Debian New Maintainer's Guide [1] or in the Debian Policy Manual [2]. ==== [Debian New Maintainer's Guide] 4.2 `copyright' file [...] The important things to add to this file are the place you got the package from and the actual copyright notice and license.
