Despite my initial feeling that ndiswrapper should belong to contrib, I have rethought the entire issue, and frankly, both main and contrib can be justified. All arguments are well known and the discussion is going to be sterile and with a result strictly equal to zero.
Please let the CTTE think of something else, please let the maintainer and ftpmasters do what they want with ndiswrapper. The line between main and contrib is thin enough.
