Before your mail I was completely unaware of the existence of dpkg-sig. Now that I know it, I care about it and would like to start uploading my packages dpkg-sig-ed (being it possible!). I hope the current setting will be fixed soon and I will fill a whishlist bugreport against debuild to support dpkg-sig side by side with debuild.
