I am a potential end user for the vast majority of packages in Debian -- as I am for the vast majority of the packages installed on my machines. I find lasnguage of implementation a useful selection criteria for selecting between completing implementations of similar functionality. I think Debian as a whole should not be discriminating against the segment of the user base that does tend to be somewhat technical -- I suspect there are a large number of us out there. manoj -- Nudists are people who wear one-button suits.
