But *why*? I see little to no advantage over what we've currently got, fine for a desktop install, but what on earth do you want something firing up X for a simple server setup? Or even using framebuffer? How about we stick with something 'simple' that 'just works'? I'd rather have consistently easy installs than something that gets in the damned way and wants more dependencies than you can shake a large stick at.
