Hi everybody, For a long while I have been covering the position of Release Manager for the X Strike Force team, as many of you already know. It is a matter of facts that I did NOT resign from that position and that this is *yet another* attempt from Daniel Stone to hijack packages that are co-maintained within the XSF. This upload (together with render) has been violating (at least): 1) Release Managers request of not uploading new major upstream versions of any library. 2) All possible NMU rules. 3) Code of Conduct. but even if i can try to force myself to fly over these major mistakes you did (there are more. like a behaviour change in the library for example...) there is one on which i absolutely cannot close my eyes. You, Daniel, and I have been talking several times on IRC about your position within the XSF. At the end of all these talks, you agreed to stop messing up with the XSF. This is clearly not the case. I find myself in a position for which i cannot trust your words anymore, and I am seriously offended by your behaviour. Both as a person, since you had my full trust, and as part of the XSF, since i still lead this team. Before I will ask the relevant Debian authorities to take appropriate actions to safeguard the community from your destructive behaviour, I want you to explain to the community the rationale behind your hijack, going trough all the points I mentioned above.
