With major problems due to the insane high space, bandwith and cpu load requirement on alioth for this. Every upcoming port will need ~10Gb source archive and ~10Gb binaries (half that for 50%). It is also likely that once a port gets past say 20% it quickly goes all the way to 90+% (unless it is hurd). It would be nice to have a common place for upcoming ports. A common source mirror with a reduces set of packages that make up the base system, build-essentials and build important packages. They wouldn't need to include gnome and kde and such. Once a port reaches a point where it needs gnome/kde it should be ready to enter scc. MfG Goswin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
